We can supply two types of THERMODUR system elements for retail units or buildings with wall heights up to 4 m:
Type 1 with pilaster strip
Our wall is fitted onto a strip foundation or the bottom slab. We use steel columns, which are welded onto the foundations or onto the anchoring plates integrated in bottom slab on site.
The advantage of this is that if construction takes place on a strip foundation, the bottom slab can be poured to a later point of time. Concrete with steel strip inlets can also be used for the bottom slab, and there is no need for external insulation of the bottom slab.
Type 2 without pilaster strip
Design takes place as for type 1. The greater wall thickness, however, means there may be no need for the pilaster strip.
For the internal walls, sleeve foundations about 8 m apart are used, into which a steel column which we fix to our wall is placed. We cast the sleeves and columns. The steel columns are not visible. |
